Delete In the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the HairGain app:
- Open the app and go to Profile
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm when prompted
Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately once you confirm.
What Gets Deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes your account and the data tied to it, including:
- Your account and sign-in information
- Your quiz answers and onboarding responses
- Your hairline, crown, and progress photos
- Your assessment history — risk level, Norwood stage, Hair Health Score, and habit-tracking activity
This data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records by law (for example, transaction records needed for tax or accounting purposes). See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention.
Subscriptions Aren't Cancelled Automatically
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, so you'll need to cancel there separately — through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — to stop future charges.
Can't Access the App?
If you've lost access to the app and can't delete your account in-app, email us from the email address registered to your account:
- Send to hairgain.support@gmail.com
- Use the subject line “Delete My Account”
- We'll verify the request and process the deletion within 5 business days
We can only act on requests sent from your registered email address, so this may take a little longer than deleting in-app while we confirm it's really you.
